Fellowship

Here at Calvary we value the ministry of fellowship as it is critical to every Christian's growth. Why fellowship? Isn't attending Sunday worship sufficient? The original Greek word for fellowship means "sharing". It is more than a group of people being together. Fellowship exists when a group of people, being together, share something in common. To us, it is the common relationship with God that we share. In I John 1:3: "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ". We fellowship with one another as a result of our fellowship in God. And I John 1:7: "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin". No Christian can be a lone fighter in his or her spiritual journey. As it is often illustrated, that a cross-centered life is built upon a vertical relation with God and a horizontal relationship with fellow brothers and sisters. The love, encouragement, edification and the time we study God's Words together, are some elements that help keep us going along this journey and walking in the light continuously.

There are a variety of fellowship groups here, some are based on geographical location, some on age groups, and some on language. Check out our meeting times and feel free to find a group that best fits you.
